The nursery unit (0 to 3 years old) incorporates the Maria Montessori method, which is reflected in the educational furniture and the way this place of learning is experienced. The CDEF is a residential centre for children and young people aged 0 to 16 who have been placed in the care of the Child Welfare Services by court order or by their families, for a variable but generally short period of time. It is divided into units according to age.
